LARRY W. DE YOUNG
Trustee, Village of South Holland
Larry W. DeYoung is completing his 8th full term as Trustee.
​
He attended the University of Illinois Chicago and has a BS in Business and Marketing from Chicago State University. Larry taught at Thornton High School from 1969-1972.
​
He is an active member of the South Holland Business Association having served as Director, Vice President, and President over the years. He continues to be the Village Board liaison to SHBA.
​
A 2000 and 2003 honoree in “Who’s Who of International Entrepreneurs”, Larry has maintained an investment management business in South Holland for the past 43 years.
​
Larry is a member and Elder of First Reformed Church in South Holland and is a director of Chicagoland Prison Outreach, a ministry serving Cook County jail inmates and their families.
​
Larry is a sixth-generation South Holland resident. He and his wife, Phyllis have lived in the village for 52 years. They have two children and 5 grandchildren.
